I got the job!
I’m moving to Singapore…In a month. Thats not a lot of time to do all the things I need to do. Mostly, find my employers a new AMAZING nanny, rent out my apartment, move my things out, figure out how to get a Singaporian bank account, buy a new bathing suite, and spend every waking hour with my friends and family. It’s going to be a busy month!

I used to work as a nanny on tour with an amazing Canadian Opera singer. It was great. This time last year I was in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was hard to be away from my family and friends but I was really lucky to work for such a great woman and with such a sweet little guy. I left the position basically out of home sickness and wanting to attempt to save money to go back to school. Well, now that I’m home I am still not saving much money and I have someone pursuing me about a position in the Hamptons/Singapore. I love my position here in Toronto but the idea of travel is something that I always have a hard time ignoring.
E got into day care which means my 50 hour week is now only a 40 hour week…. 3 days weekends..THANK YOU!!!
But, I will miss this her. She’s a doll and looks great in my bike basket!
My best friend is also a nanny. We don’t work in the same area of town but we had an amazing play date today. Basically we barbecued veggie dogs while the kids blew bubbles and chased the neighbors cats….I love my job!
